Attention Parents/Families/Staff/Students: the original school calendar had planned for a 1pm dismissal both Wednesday and Thursday of this week. We will ONLY be dismissing at 1pm on THURSDAY for teacher/staff professional development. Wednesday is a regularly scheduled school day.

Attention Parents/Guardians of HS Jrs & Srs: Sept 9 the Jrs & Srs will be taking a bus to MSU-N in Havre for the College Fair! The bus will leave BEHS at 1:00 and return by 2:45. Contact Shari Ruff@ 362-4195 for more information.
Also: College Application Week is set for September 30-October 4! All Seniors will be filling out college applications and getting information on the FAFSA!

We are eagerly anticipating the first day back with staff tomorrow at Box Elder School!
We want to send a HUGE shout out to our maintenance, custodians, secretaries, teachers, bus drivers, kitchen staff, and administrators who have been working tirelessly during the summer to prepare to welcome our students back for the 2019-2020 school year on Wednesday, August 21!
Parents/Guardians of incoming Freshman - be sure to attend our Freshman Orientation on Tuesday, August 20 from 8:45-12:30! You and your freshman student will receive their schedule, get their lockers, and meet their teachers. There are prizes that will be raffled for attendees as well!
Parents/Guardians: be sure that you have updated, completed, and returned registration packets for each of your students planning to attend Box Elder this year. Not doing so may cause delay in their being placed in classrooms and being able to start the school year on time.
Kindergarten parents: If you haven’t received a call yet for a “Meet the Teacher” time for your incoming kindergartener, you may not have completed the registration - please call the school Monday, August 19 to make sure your student’s registration is complete and has a time scheduled
to meet their teacher. Kindergarteners won’t have their first full day until Friday, August 23.

Jr High Sports:
All practices for the Jr High Football, Cross County & Volleyball will start Wednesday, August 21 after school and a 5:00 Bus will be provided for
transportation home.

You can register in person or use the fillable PDF version from our website www.boxelderbears.com (at the bottom of the homepage), print and drop it off. Every student needs to re-register each year! School starts August 21!

Attention Student Athletes & Parents: HS Fall sports practices all begin this Friday, August 16! Participants need to have a current, updated sports physical in order to practice. Call the school at 352-4195 if you need more information!

Stop by either the elementary or high school office to register your Box Elder Bear for the upcoming school year - remember, every student needs to be re-registered every school year! Attention all parents & student-athletes: Sports Physicals will be available at Box Elder School on July 15th and 17th from 9am-3pm! If you plan to participate in any sports for the 2019-2020 school year, be sure to stop by and get your physical!

Attention all Box Elder Alumni: if you have old copies of Box Elder Yearbooks you are willing to donate to the school, please call or drop it by the office!

Calling all 7-12th grade students in the Box Elder/Rocky Boy Community looking to increase their athletic ability & physical fitness: Mr. Eldridge is opening the Box Elder weight room according to the following schedule and YOU are invited to come and build your best self this summer! Liability waivers will be able to be filled out in the HS office and must be completed and turned in prior to participating.
