Mrs. Genereux is recognizing Kylynn stating: Kylynn has been showing responsibility by logging on daily and completing all of her tasks. She communicates with me daily and asks for help when she is stuck. I am proud of Kylynn for sticking with home learning and improving her education.

Congratulations to Keenan Henry for being one of Box Elder School's Good News Shout Outs of the Day! Mrs. Donoven is recognizing Keenan stating that: Keenan is working around the clock, especially on IXL! He brings many smiles throughout the day with his Seesaw comments from his iPad. Keenan's constant desire to learn is admirable and I'm so proud to be part of his education.

Mrs. Eldridge is recognizing Teddy stating: Teddy has been getting on Seesaw, checking his assignments, AND getting those assignments done every single day!! He has been keeping in touch and leaving messages, and also checking back and answering other classmates and myself each day... we are having some great conversations! Nice work Teddy! Keep it up!

Mrs. Eldridge is recognizing Aubrey stating: Aubrey has been very diligent in checking into Seesaw everyday and finding out what assignments I have put on for the day! She works hard and gets them done and even goes a step farther by commenting on her classmates work and giving positive notes. She has started some conversations and also comes back to see if anyone answered so she can respond again! Way to go for showing BEAR PRIDE !!

Good Morning Bears! The meals are being packed and will be heading out to your houses shortly! We are bring Monday & Tuesday's breakfasts and lunches in one delivery today (4 meals per person). Then we will deliver again on Wednesday with Wednesday and Thursday's meals, and again on Friday. Please be patient and let us know through Facebook or by calling the school if you have any questions or concerns. Ms. Weber shared this fantastic schedule of Montana PBS's curriculum programming - so be sure to utilize it when learning at home - lots of cool shows that can lead to discussions and learning!

Congratulations to Elizabeth "Morgan" Russette - another Box Elder School Good News Shout Out of the Day! Mrs. Myers recognized Morgan stating: Morgan has shown a lot of growth in reading and math this year! She constantly is working hard on her work. Since we have started distance learning she has completed every assignment! She was even working on her assignments during the weekend to stay educated! I have asked her to work on 5th grade standards on IXL as one of the assignments. Morgans response to me was, " Why can't I work on 6th grade standards?" Not only does she do her daily work, she looks for ways to go beyond what is asked. I am very proud of the hard work and dedication Morgan shows day in and day out! Way to go Morgan! Keep up all the good and hard work! I am so proud and admire your hard work and dedication to your education!

Based on this week's activity the leaders are: Keenan Henry on IXL, Zayden Morrow on Epic!, Alexis Wolf Chief on Quizziz, and Araya Sangrey & Noah MacDonald on Seesaw. Way to go - look for a prize delivered with your Monday meal! Another message from Mrs. Donoven: No one has been on Spelling City. Do you have your passwords? Please let Mrs. Donoven know if you are having trouble. The contest will start over on Friday, March 27 for next week's contest. Please try to finish up the assigned Seesaw assignments. And, let’s give Keenan some competition on IXL. Keep up the great work third graders!

Mrs. Elliot is recognizing Jennifer Seymour, Melissa Seymour, Autumn James, Makaela Kelly, Faith Wells, Giovanni Alvarez, Alexis Bell and Rialley Crow. Mrs. Elliot is recognizing these students saying: Way to go for getting right on Google Classroom and doing the first art assignment. I know the Google assignment is not as fun as creating art in the classroom, but these students are great for taking charge! Miss you all.

Congratulations to Alivia Sangrey for being one of our Good News Shout Outs of the Day! Mrs. Kudrna is recognizing Alivia saying: Alivia is my Good News call of the day because has not only completed the assignments that I have posted in Seesaw but she has lifted my spirit each day! I am so thankful to see her beautiful smile and hear her answers to the questions that I have posted. On March 13th I didn't plan on saying goodbye to my students, Alivia continues to remind me why I am in the profession that I am. I want to thank Alivia for brighting my days each and every day by letting me know you are doing great. Keep doing great things, Alivia!

Attention all Box Elder Families: If your child is having any trouble getting apps from Self Service (like the Box Elder Public Schools app) to download, here are three options to choose from to help get the apps downloaded: 1) Be patient and wait (it may just take a REALLY long time) 2) Call Triangle and have them increase your internet speed (they are doing this for families who had service through them before school closures, if you call and ask) 3) Drive to the front of the school and download the necessary apps (self service just works faster when connected to our WiFi) Hope this helps!
